Rachel and Sergio married on October 10, 2015 at Denver’s historic Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Rachel and Sergio chose a great place to declare their vows. The Cathedral is Colorado’s only basilica and arguably Denver’s most beautiful location for a Catholic wedding ceremony. The Denver Cathedral showcases spectacular architecture adorned with white Carrara marble and elaborately detailed stained glass. You’ll see from the pictures why it is such a joy to photograph a wedding at the Cathedral Basilica.

In addition to the beautiful setting, Rachel and Sergio are lucky to have such a long list of family and friends who made sure to witness this special occasion. Rachel impressed them with her elegant wedding gown (before the wedding, we captured a great photo of Rachel’s adorable nieces and flower girls carrying the dress down the aisle as the sun lit her gown through the stained glass). Sergio certainly did not go unnoticed. Everyone took note of his unique style as he walked down the aisle sporting a fun pair of black Converse sneakers to accent his white tuxedo.

Rachel and Sergio’s wedding had one of the cutest ring bearer’s we’ve ever seen. Check out the gallery to see this adorable boy skip his way down the aisle with a huge smile on his face.

After the ceremony we were able to steal a peaceful moment of the bride on the altar.  Then, we were off to Cheesman Park for some fun photos of the couple and their wedding party. Rachel and her nine bridesmaids are an attractive group of ladies, making it easy to create pretty pictures of them. We also had fun photographing Sergio surrounded by his groomsmen under Cheesman’s columns.

The party then moved to Diana’s Castle in West Denver where Rachel had organized a fun candy bar for all the guests. However, before desert, Rachel and Sergio made sure to share a special dance together. There’s also a great moment that Rachel shared with her father during their dance.
